If you’re at this week’s Monaco Yacht Show, arrange to take a look at the FunAir display. The company, known for its wide variety of inflatable yacht slides, climbing walls, and more, has a new Floating Shaded Lounger. What’s more, it’s modular, making for multiple combinations.
The product is just what is sounds like, a lightweight settee—for two—complete with its own bimini. Essentially, it’s a mini island, ideal for owners or guests who’d like to enjoy a little private time away from the yacht. Speaking of islands, three of these can connect together, as an extra-long private escape. In fact, this is how FunAir is displaying the Floating Shaded Lounger at the boat show. They’ll be in the water just outside the Captains and Crew Lounge. The location is near the Monaco Yacht Club, on Quai Louis II. Additionally, double and single inflatables will be on the Captain and Crew Lounge dock, on land. Therefore, you and your crew can sit in them to test out the comfort.
Whichever way you ultimately set it up, the Floating Shaded Lounger caters well to guests who are enjoying a beach day, sitting in the shallows just off the shore. Or, ask the crew to deploy it when you’re at anchor, especially to watch the sunset.
Like its other products, FunAir kept ergonomics in mind with the new lounges. Furthermore, it kept the crew’s convenience and preferences in mind. Since these are inflatable, they pack up small and light, requiring little stowage space compared to fixed-size items. They’re easy to transport, too, for shoreside use.
Note as well that you can order soft, customizable covers for the lounges, for an extra layer of luxury. Your crew will appreciate how this keeps the inflatables clean, and how they can toss the covers themselves in the laundry.
On a related subject, FunAir will have some of its Wave furniture collection inside the crew lounge.
