Leave it to FunAir to keep coming up with inflatable superyacht toys that you didn’t know you can’t live without. First it was slides and climbing rock walls, for a real rush. But, superyacht guests also relish relaxing. So, FunAir has three new products to suit, at the Monaco Yacht Show this week. They are the Wave Lounger, Twin Escape, and Daybed.
The Wave Lounger is just what it sounds like. This curvy inflatable lounge chair cradles you while sunbathing or enjoying sundowners (at top, aft corners of the platform). Even tall guests can stretch out on one, since it’s 7’2” (2.2 meters) long. The Wave Lounger packs up small when deflated, too, meaning you can tote several on your trips. In addition, FunAir can color coordinate them to your yacht, or your favorite tones. Furthermore, you can order fitted covers through a FunAir partner.
The Twin Escape, meanwhile (above), is essentially a private floating island. It features two inflatable seats attached to an inflatable platform. Measurements: 11’5” x 9’8” (3.5 meters x 3 meters). The platform should stay stable as you gently float around in shallow water, or calm deep water. If you are in the shallows, note that the twin Escape comes with FunAir’s Sea Stairs, letting you step down into and up from the water. In addition, each lounge detaches. So, you can pull it off and park it on the sand for sunbathing.
If you cruise with lots of family and friends, consider the FunAir Daybed. Better yet, consider multiple Daybeds, and line ‘em up on the beach (above). These two-person pads are the inflatable version of popular poolside or beachside daybeds. FunAir says they’re comfortable enough for couples and durable enough for kids to sprawl out. Dimensions: 7’5” x 5’2” (2.3 meters x 1.58 meters). These, too, come in custom colors and with fitted covers if you so wish.
