Late summer 2025 should see American owners enjoying their Admiral Galileo 82, a 269-footer (82-meter). The keel-laying ceremony took place at The Italian Sea Group’s facilities, all the more special because the yacht is the brand’s first for U.S. clients.
American-based FGI Yachts introduced the buyers to The Italian Sea Group. It’s the same brokerage firm that helped established The Italian Sea Group’s Hamptons office, its first U.S. sales office and showroom, over the summer. The owners signed the contract for the Admiral Galileo 82 last December.
Rising four decks high, the striking superyacht bears styling from The Italian Sea Group’s Centro Stile division. Complementing the contemporary flowing lines, interior design is coming from Bannenberg & Rowell. There’s excellent space for the owners to tailor with the British design studio, too, given that beam stretches 43’6” (13.3 meters). Among the spaces, the approximately 1,399-square-foot (130-square-meter) upper deck is entirely for the owners to enjoy. Not left out, their 10 guests have lounges on multiple decks that are about 1,079 square feet (100 square meters) each.
Speaking of lounges, though, one of the coolest onboard is below decks. Actually, it’s below the waterline. This Admiral Galileo 82 has an underwater cinema lounge.
Back above the waterline, meanwhile, the owners’ party of 12 has capacious alfresco areas to enjoy. Four pools spread across the decks. A waterfall splashes down from one pool into a second pool, too. The larger of these is pretty large as well. It measures 24’6” by 9’8” (7.5 by 3.5 meters).
Equally noteworthy, and surely a sight to see, the superyacht has a glass corridor through her engine room. The hallway connects the spa, near the beach club, with the access to the foyer for the upper deck. Guests who consider themselves tech geeks or who are merely curious about machinery can therefore get glimpses into how everything onboard runs. Twenty-eight crewmembers will keep the Galileo 82 running, by the way.
“The growing interest in our yachts coming from the U.S. market shows the validity of our commercial strategy in the area,” says Giovanni Costantino, founder and CEO of The Italian Sea Group. Further to that point, The Italian Sea Group established its first after-sales location in Miami in September.
