The flurry of summer superyacht deliveries continues. The owners of Crossbow are enjoying their inaugural season aboard their performance cruiser.
Southern Wind Shipyard handed over the yacht this month. She’s the fifth delivery in its SW102 series, which comes in two configurations. One is a deck saloon. The other is a raised-saloon version. The 104-foot (31.71-meter) Crossbow follows that design. In fact, she’s the third SW102 to do so. Overall, the series has naval architecture by Farr Yacht Design and styling and interiors by Nauta Design.
As such, Crossbow lets her owners and guests enjoy a light, bright atmosphere inside a relaxation area with higher than expected overheads. The saloon photo at top gives a good indication of them. Even with this arrangement, though, Crossbow retains a low-profile deckhouse, as you can tell below.
Light-oak paneling flows throughout the interiors, while walnut does underfoot. That, with the 270-degree views in the deckhouse, makes the 22’6” (6.9-meter) beam seem extra comfortable. The cream-and-coral color scheme you see in the saloon carries through to the forward owner’s stateroom. The latter is nicely private, even though it’s just off the saloon and dining area. Crew get housed aft, with the galley in their area, too.
Carrying 5,522 square feet (513 square meters) of sail area, Crossbow promises off-the-boat fun, too. She has a tender garage for a 14-foot (4.2-meter) RIB.
Southern Wind Shipyards says it will exhibit Crossbow at upcoming boat shows. It has not mentioned which ones, however.
