Two years after she was signed, the Bilgin 155 is about three months from delivery.
Actually measuring 153’5” (46.8 meters), the Bilgin 155 should be a busy cruiser. Her owner plans trips throughout Europe, along Atlantic Ocean shores, and among Caribbean islands. The displacement megayacht is engineered for transatlantic range, capable of a reported 16-knot top speed under Caterpillar power. Two tenders and two PWCs should get good use when the Bilgin 155 (whose name is being kept confidential for now) is at anchor or the dock.
H2 Yacht Design is responsible for the Bilgin 155’s streamlined exterior looks. The same studio created the initial interior design (the megayacht started construction on spec). This project marks one of several that H2 Yacht Design has done with Bilgin Yachts.
The owner made some changes to the original design, though the shipyard isn’t divulging details other than that the alterations were minor. There are accommodations for 12 in the owner’s party. Perhaps most interesting among them: two master suites, both with steam baths. The Bilgin 155, with a beam of 30’2” (9.2 meters), has a variety of customary relaxation spaces, too. These include saloons (main deck and upper deck), a beach club, and a sundeck. The tender garage can double as an extra beach club, too.
The Bilgin 155 is being built to RINA classification.
Meanwhile, a slightly larger Bilgin 156 is under construction, again with H2 Yacht Design’s talents. She’s a spec megayacht, with delivery anticipated next year. Even bigger, the Bilgin 263, signed for a repeat buyer, should start construction in a few weeks.
