Although it’s only a six-year-old company, OceanR is already making a big impact on the sustainability front. Simultaneously, it’s made inroads into yachting. The motoryachts Legend, Infinity, Scott Free, and Nirvana as well as the sailing superyacht Endeavour are all clients. OceanR makes eco-friendly fashion, with a watersports enthusiast and environmental advocate as its founder.
From T-shirts to rash vests and swimwear to shorts, OceanR has apparel for both men and women. Its design team customizes the look of its clothing for each customer—with Richard Branson’s Necker Island and the Ritz-Carlton resorts being other clients, too. Everything starts with ocean waste such as fishing nets and discarded plastic bottles rescued from the sea. Organic cotton goes into a variety of offerings as well.
You can learn more about OceanR in the August edition of the MegayachtNews.com newsletter.

So, besides learning about OceanR, you’ll find out how the sailing superyacht Adix is headed back to the UK for yard work, at a shipyard she’s visited numerous times over the years. Additionally, you’ll find an important reminder to take our annual reader survey—and a link for the survey, too. It takes less than one minute for you to share your opinion on how we’re meeting your news needs and how we can provide you with more of what you’d like to read.
