Having just launched in May, the CRN Ciao is spending her inaugural season on the water visiting a few treasured cruising grounds. Already, she’s visited Montenegro and Sardinia, set for further fun in the weeks to come.
The 171-footer (52-meter) shows off quite a sporty profile, thanks to the design work of Dutch studio Omega Architects. In fact, she’s quite sporty, yet also artistic, especially aft. There, the sloping lines of her superstructure come down to form open-air frames for the main aft deck. This makes the pool area, with lounging space, all the more appealing.
In fact, the owner of the CRN Ciao, an experienced cruiser, prioritized open-air spaces that would make his family and friends feel extra welcome. This is among the reasons why the just-mentioned pool and lounging area is one of two onboard. The other is on the sundeck.
Alfresco areas like these sprang from the owner’s imagination, of course, as interpreted by Massari Design. Therefore, the Italian studio further created an outdoor dining area on the upper deck. The 499-gross-ton CRN Ciao further has a beach club, with wellness and relaxation at its heart, which opens up at the waterline.
For now, the owner is keeping closer looks at the beach club as well as interior areas exclusively for himself and his guests. However, overall, the four-deck superyacht accommodates 10 people, with four VIP suites below decks and a main-deck master suite. Additionally, generous panes of full-height glass along the main and upper decks make appreciating Sardinia and other seaside destinations easier. Finally, warm and natural tones and textures create a soothing ambience that doesn’t compete with the outside surroundings.
