With a new injection of capital, Sunseeker is setting its sights again on what it believes is a more strategic large-luxury yacht range. Its Sunseeker Superyacht Division, with series exceeding 100 feet (30.5 meters), has a new model alongside two other already-announced series.
Late last year Sunseeker sold to two private-equity firms, namely Orienta and Lionheart Capital. Together, they acquired the 92-percent stake that China-based Dalian Wanda Group, a real-estate and hospitality company, purchased in 2013. A downturn in China’s real-estate sector, significant debt, and other challenges severely impacted Wanda in recent years. Orienta and Lionheart Capital each have had footprints in yachting for several years. Orienta, for example, has owned the tender and chase-boat builder Anvera Boats since April 2024. Its senior advisor also headed the Ferretti Group from 1995 to 2006. Lionheart Capital, meanwhile, aquired Cigarette Racing nearly four years ago.

Part of the investments into Sunseeker will see the Sunseeker Superyacht Division refocus on 100- to 140-foot (42.7-meter) models. As part of the re-imagined lineup, Sunseeker is introducing the Sunseeker 135 Yacht (top). Although specifications and full details aren’t yet available, expect the megayacht to accommodate a party of 10. Her styling complements that of other sharp, sporty projects across the British boatbuilder’s lineup. Additionally, in keeping with Sunseeker’s history, anticipate a good turn of speed for her size.
The Sunseeker 135 Yacht will see construction at the builder’s facilities in Poole. So, too, will the Sunseeker 120 Yacht (above) and Sunseeker Ocean 460 yacht (below), two previously announced series. The trideck Sunseeker 120 Yacht bears styling reminiscent of the well-known Predator range from the shipyard. A 764-square-foot (71-square-meter) flying bridge, though, is one of the most-attractive features for buyers. So, too, is a fixed sunlounge/settee at the transom, just off the swim platform. As for the Ocean 460 yacht, she gets her name from her volume (gross tonnage). Among her strongest draws is a transformable and expandable, multi-level relaxation and play area aft. Between the extra space plus a glass bulkhead rimming the main afr deck, owners and guests feel as if barriers to the surroundings disappear.

Both the Sunseeker 120 Yacht and the Ocean 460 feature customizable interior designs, with Design Unlimited. Finally, like the new Sunseeker 135 Yacht, they’re each seeing construction in Poole.
Andrea Frabetti, CEO of Sunseeker International, commented: “With a legacy of delivering over 150 yachts exceeding 100 feet since 2000, this new range marks the next chapter in our journey.”
