A compact size doesn’t mean losing out on amenities or experiences. The owner of Tuccini, the second Numarine 30XP yacht to launch, has enough space for a variety of friends and family. Simultaneously, this is a project capable of crossing the Atlantic without refueling.
Since the series is semi-custom, this new superyacht bears similarities to the first hull, Minella, which premiered last year. Firstly, the engineering underpinning the yacht is the same. The shipyard’s own naval-architecture team designed her for long-distance cruising. The best performance, in fact, comes at 8 knots, providing the Numarine 30XP yacht series with a 3,500-nautical-mile range. Top speed is just 13 knots, since the journey is as much the point as arriving at an anchorage.

Notably, those speeds and distances come regardless of whether buyers choose twin 560-hp MANs or hybrid propulsion. The owner of Tuccini chose the standard diesel-electric propulsion, specifically twin electric engines and four 108-kW diesel gensets. (Minella’s owner chose the same.) The number of gensets and their smaller draw allow flexibility, using some or none as needed. Optional solar panels on the hardtop boost efficiency, too.
Primarily, the differences between Minella and this new launch are aesthetic. For instance, Minella makes a Scandinavian style statement, prioritizing minimalism and function. Lots of oak covers walls, while stone flows across the floors from room to room. Tuccini makes prominent use of white and beige throughout her decks, sprinkling in dark accents. In each case, Can Yalman collaborated on selecting as many environmentally friendly materials as possible, a priority for the shipyard.

The general arrangement featured aboard both raised-pilothouse motoryachts is the same, since it’s a widely popular layout. For example, four guest staterooms are below decks, and the master suite is forward on the main deck. It additionally has a balcony. A full-height window to starboard in the saloon slides open to bring in fresh breezes and, with the aft sliding doors open, virtually eliminate barriers to the seascapes.
Speaking of seascapes, the partially open-air beach area has fold-down sides, expanding space to 495 square feet (46 square meters). The overhang of the deck above is slightly elevated, purposely making the beach areafeel airier. At the same time, it creates a cozy perch three steps up from the main deck.

With an interior volume of 213 gross tons and a long flying bridge with a bar and sunpads, the Numarine 30XP yacht series has one more big benefit. According to the shipyard, she’s exceptionally quiet. Sound levels in the guest staterooms reportedly are less than 40 dB-A. Levels in the master, meanwhile, are 38.1 dB-A. Both of these are comparable to a suburban neighborhood at night or a library. Numarine regularly works with Silent Line, a soundproofing specialist, to keep sound and vibration levels low.
