To capitalize on growing interest in performance sailing superyachts, Perini Navi has put forth a proposal to attract buyers’ interest. She’s the Perini Navi 47M, measuring 154 feet.
The Italian yard has worked with leading design studios on similar craft. This time, it developed the project, a sloop, in house. She features Perini Navi’s patented “fly by wire” steering. Superyacht-regatta participants will especially appreciate this, for its quick feedback at the wheel. Whether you favor racing or spirited cruising, you have two draft options: 12’8” (3.9 meters) and 31’2” (9.5 meters). The Perini Navi 47M also benefits from more than 24,918 square feet (2,315 square meters) of sail area. Handling comes from the builder’s own captive-reel winches and furling systems.
Even regatta enthusiasts need to unwind. For that reason, the Perini Navi 47M has 1,528 square feet (142 square meters) of alfresco relaxation space. Enjoy the view from the aft cockpit. Head forward to the foredeck, where the eight-preson crew can set up an awning for daytime shade. (This spot is right above the tender bay, too.) Or, head up to the bridge to watch the next horizon come into view. Don’t forget about the beach club, either.
In typical Perini Navi fashion, you have abundant room all on one level from outside to inside, too. There’s nearly 65’6” (20 meters) of unimpeded social space from the cockpit straight through the saloon. Three guest staterooms and the full-beam owner’s suite, including a study, all sit below decks. The only thing missing: your personalization.
