Luxury yachts. Racing. Cannes. Need I say more?
Right on the heels of the upcoming Cannes Film Festival, Camper & Nicholsons is helping promote a series of regattas in the surrounding bays of the famed old port of Cannes.
From May 28 to 31, up to 25 sailing superyachts measuring 30 meters (120 feet) or more are expected to participate in the Super Yacht Cup Cannes. They’ll dock along the Jetée Albert Edouard, located behind the Palais des Festivals, where Hollywood, Bollywood, and other film stars gather each year.
There will be an exclusive “regatta village” for megayacht owners and crew to enjoy. Also on tap: social events at night, including an Owners’ Gala Dinner at the Palm Beach casino. The latter will reportedly raise money for a charitable cause (unfortunately, at presstime I had not yet received the name of the charity).
