Given that the islands of the Bahamas have long been favored cruising grounds, it’s no wonder that a new marina is about to open its doors. Named Albany Marina, it’s on the island of New Providence and is part of a 565-acre newly constructed community that, upon completion of its final phase, will be comprised of shops, residences, a boutique hotel, an equestrian center, an adults-only pool and bar, a kids’ clubhouse, and a golf course designed by Ernie Els.
The 3D animation video above takes you around and through the residences and gives a good overview of how the marina is set up. Seventy-one slips are available, able to accommodate a variety of production yachts and megayachts to 240 feet (73 meters). Maximum depth in the marina is 16 feet (4.8 meters). Each slip has one-touch access to all the resort services, too.
The slips are available for sale, as are custom homes; contact Albany Marina for details.
