Aicon Yachts is leaping further into the megayacht market with the Navetta 110, which will be its largest model to date.
Currently, the Sicilian shipyard offers the Aicon 85 Fly as its largest build. The Aicon Navetta 110, as the name suggests, will be about 110 feet LOA (33.43 meters), with a generous beam of 25 feet (7.6 meters). She’s being built entirely of fiberglass and engineered for leisurely cruising, with an anticipated top speed of 18 knots. Power will be courtesy of twin 1,156-hp Caterpillar C32 ACERT diesels.
The Aicon Navetta 110 is also being designed, by Aicon’s in-house team, to emphasize luxury living on the water. As such, warm woods dominate the interior, from soles to bulkheads and trim. Similar to other semi-custom megayachts, you’ll also find fold-down balconies on the main deck. There will be one to each side of the dining area, no doubt set for good use whenever the Navetta 110 is at anchor. The owner gets a balcony, too, in the forward master suite. Adding to the appeal of the suite are full-height windows opposite the balcony, where a small seating area, ideal for morning coffee or reading, is situated.
Two twin cabins and two queen staterooms lie below decks for guests, just aft of crew accommodations for four. While the owner’s party doesn’t have a beach club aft, the swim platform is plenty large enough for getting into the tender or diving into the sea. There’s also plenty of room on the flying bridge for a crowd, as the sole driving station is the wheelhouse just below. The flying bridge has loose furnishings, a bar, and of course a hot tub.
Aicon has not released the launch date for the first Navetta 110, so we’ll update this story when further details are available. In the meantime, for more information about the yacht directly from Aicon, fill out our contact form.
