What’s in a name? There’s typically plenty to the back story, especially when a yacht or megayacht is the item in question. In the case of Nameless, the newest megayacht to launch at Mondo Marine… well, suffice it to say that the owners have a good sense of humor.
The 134’5” (41-meter) Nameless is an all-aluminum project built to an exterior design by Cor D Rover and to Mondo Marine’s own naval architecture. The yacht lift in the photo is unfortunately obscuring her lines, which the husband half of the owners requested evoke the sporty styling of his beloved cars. But, you can see the dramatic bow flare and the top of the flying bridge, which has some drama to it as well.
Another request: The owners wanted good elbowroom. As a result, Nameless has a healthy beam of 27’8” (8.48 meters), accentuated by a nearly monochromatic white decor. Luca Dini, principal of Luca Dini Design, describes the megayacht’s interior design as “cool, smart, eclectic, and delightfully vain.” The owners wanted sophistication flowing through all decks and all accommodations, the latter for themselves and 10 guests in four staterooms, including two full-beam VIPs and a twin cabin with pullmans. The white surfaces you see in the rendering here, of Nameless’ skylounge, are leather and marble, offset by mahogany cabinets and stainless steel accents.
If you’ll be at this fall’s Monaco Yacht Show, you’ll get a chance to see Nameless in person.
