A member of Hollywood’s elite is the newest buyer of a raised-pilothouse Admiral Impero megayacht from The Italian Sea Group. Specifically, the yacht will be an Admiral Impero 40, measuring 132 feet (40 meters).
The owner’s exact identity is being kept quiet for now. However, FYI Superyachts, the dedicated megayacht division of Florida Yachts International, which introduced the buyer to the Italian yard, does add that he’ll cruise in both the United States and Caribbean. The yacht is also the third Impero sold following the series’ introduction three years ago.
The two-deck Admiral Impero 40 features exterior design by Luca Dini. When she’s delivered in 2016, the all-aluminum yacht should perform as sporty as she looks. The Admiral Sea Group expects a cruise of 18 knots and top end of 20 knots, under 1,925-hp Caterpillars. Surely the sundeck, which the builder and FYI Superyachts both say is among the biggest in this yacht’s class, will be a favorite spot from which to watch approaching shores. The megayacht willl meet RINA and MCA requirements, too.
Gianmarco Campanino is handling interior design. No word yet on what woods, tones, or textures will be incorporated. The Admiral Impero 40 features an on-deck master stateroom and four guest staterooms below, one of which is a full-beam VIP. (Beam, by the way, is 26 feet, or 8 meters). Seven crew will attend to the owner’s party—additional Hollywood elite, perhaps?
