Already, five hulls are spoken for in the redesigned Custom Line Navetta 33 series. This, with hull number one just hitting the water this month.
While the Navetta 33 debuted several years ago and saw several deliveries, the Ferretti Group decided to redesign her top to bottom. In her current form, she picks up styling cues from her larger sister, the Navetta 37. These include enlarged ports in the staterooms below decks, and overall shippy lines. She also picks up naval architecture features, like a bulbous bow and semi-displacement hull. (The full Navetta series is a semi-displacement series.) As a result, the 108-footer (33-meter) should see a reported best range of 2,000 nautical miles. While Custom Line doesn’t specify at what speed that occurs, it comes with the standard 1,400-hp MAN engines.
Meant for an owner’s party of 10, the Navetta 33 includes a main-deck master stateroom. It occupies the full beam (25 feet, or 7.68 meters). All aboard get to enjoy a balcony off the saloon, to starboard, plus a transformable upper deck. It’s due to sliding glass to each side. The Navetta 33 further offers a transformable transom. Typically, it serves as the tender garage, for a RIB and a PWC. When the toys are in the water, the crew can turn it into a cozy beach club. Speaking of cozy, the foredeck features a good spot for drinks or snacks, along with a sizable sunpad. More sunning takes place on the sundeck.
A selection of Ferretti Group clients will get the first look at the new Navetta 33 in late July at a company event in Ibiza. In September, the general yacht-buying public can get aboard at the Monaco Yacht Show.
This isn’t the only Navetta series superyacht that’s been in the works. The builder is also constructing a larger model, the Navetta 42. Hull number one is already sold, too.
