Two years from now, Custom Line will debut its biggest project to date. She’s the Navetta 42, measuring 138 feet (42 meters). She’s the biggest in length and volume, the latter being 300 gross tons.
The Navetta 42 will share styling mostly with one of her three smaller sisters, the Navetta 37, which launches this year. Lines are by Zuccon International Project, the Ferretti Group’s longtime collaborator, along with the Group’s own engineering division.
As per Custom Line tradition, buyers of the Navetta 42 can tailor the alfresco areas and interior. They’ll surely keep the master stateroom on the main deck. Below, there’s a choice of four or five guest staterooms. Rising four decks high, the Navetta 42 can also accommodate a crew of seven plus the captain. A variety of alfresco areas, from the foredeck to the sundeck, can feature seating and/or dining.
If the Navetta 37 is any hint, the Navetta 42 will include a sliding glass door off the interior dining area. That dining area will also be open to the saloon, for a more voluminous feel.
Since beach clubs are all the rage, naturally the Navetta 42 will include one. Toys will be kept in a side-opening garage.
The Ferretti Group anticipates the Navetta 42 to exceed 3,000 nautical miles at 10 knots. It’s offering five engine packages, too, though the yacht won’t be a speedster, as she’s a displacement design.
