For nearly 30 years, the International Superyacht Society has honored some of the best new power and sailing superyachts delivered. The nominations come from the builders behind these boats, with their owners’ permission. The Design Awards and Awards of Distinction celebration multiple accomplishments. First, they recognize excellence in design and construction from 78 feet (24 meters) to well over 213 feet (65 meters). In addition, the awards recognize some of the most honorable captains and crew, along with the most talented craftspeople and leaders within the industry. On October 30, the International Superyacht Society will reveal the winners. Here’s a rundown of the yachts up for Design Awards, listed in alphabetical order in each category.
