Sergei Dobroserdov, the founder and CEO of Dynamiq, says his team created the GTT 160 because “there are so many 50-meter yachts below 500 GT available, but they all look very similar with pretty much the same functionality. We asked ourselves: ‘What can we bring to the market that makes more sense for our clients?'” The Dynamiq GTT 160 therefore prioritized comfort, performance proficiency, and price.
Joining a lineup that includes the Dynamiq GTT 135, the new project measures 162 feet (49.5 meters). Dobroserdov asserts that she “provides the motion comfort of a 55-meter yacht with a conventional flared bow.” She uses a hull design from Van Oossanen Naval Architects, equipped with a Hull Vane foil to reduce drag. Therefore, the Dynamiq GTT 160 should see 4,000 nautical miles at 10 knots and a top end of 17 knots with MAN V6 engines. That’s ideal for transatlantic crossings on her own aluminum bottom, and making good time between destinations regardless of cruising grounds. On a related note, MAN V12s should allow a 23-knot top speed. Also of note, hybrid propulsion should allow silent operations to 8 knots.
Also for comfort, the Dynamiq GTT 160 offers customizable accommodations for 12 people and eight crewmembers. As it does for all its yachts, Dynamiq lets you configure the megayacht directly on its website, down to the watertoys. Speaking of which, a 21-foot tender stows in a foredeck garage, plus the yacht has a touch-and-go helipad.
Regardless of using the helipad or not, most interested buyers will likely want a main-deck master suite. Dynamiq recommends two fixed balconies, too. If you like chatting with your chef, further choose the main-deck galley with breakfast bar. You’ll also appreciate the upper-deck lounge including a 75-inch screen and a bar. The nearly 1,292-square-foot (120-square-meter) beach club—massive for the megayacht’s LOA—beckons as well, with a hot tub and a spa.
Finally, the starting price for the Dynamiq GTT 160 is €19.9 million (about $21.6 million at press time).
