If you have never attended an official yacht launch, let the yacht launch come to you. Princess Yachts is inviting yacht watchers worldwide to experience the X95 in a way it has never before attempted. For that matter, the experience is something only a small handful of shipyards have tried. The Princess X95 launch will take place before your eyes through the magic of the Internet.
You might remember that the yacht, the flagship of Princess’ flying-bridge lineup, celebrated her technical launch in February. However, a number of final fit-out details remained yet to be completed. With the event next week, specifically on July 27, you can take a tour of the yacht, both on deck and throughout the interior.
Therefore, the upcoming Princess X95 launch will reveal a below-decks master stateroom and three guest staterooms. (A main-deck owners’ suite is available, too.) You’ll additionally see the custom gym that the owner requested.
While the interior tour is an attractive aspect, the Princess X95 launch should generate a lot of buzz because the project represents a marked exterior styling departure for the brand. In collaboration with longtime design partner Olesinki and the renowned Pininfarina studio, the British builder strove to rethink usable space everywhere onboard. The result is a “Super Flybridge” with 10 percent more alfresco space and 40 percent more interior areas versus similar-size flying-bridge motoryachts. In fact, her main and upper decks extend almost the full 95’5” (29.1-meter) length of the yacht.
Princess plans to reveal more details about the event in the coming days. So, for instance, we should know soon whether the wavepiercing-bow-equipped yacht will show off her 26-knot top speeds on camera. Regardless, for now, Princess does say members of its executive board will participate in a live Q&A.
To watch the event, register via the dedicated Princess X95 Live Launch page on Facebook. It runs from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Eastern time.
