Since the keel is already laid, a 108-footer (33-meter) packed with pleasant surprises is available for buyers to tailor further. Even with your input, the yacht Project May launch and delivery dates can take place in 2026.
Van der Valk Shipyard in The Netherlands started construction based on the technical platform of the yacht Blue Jeans, from 2022. While that means reuniting with the design studios Diana Yacht Design and Guido de Groot Design, still, some differences exist. Firstly, the 108-footer is a trideck. That affords more spaces and more volume than typical for her LOA. Secondly, the all-aluminum megayacht doesn’t have a set-in-stone superstructure design. In fact, everything higher than the main-deck bulwarks can reflect your style. Guido de Groot’s suggested styling also combines colors and tonal contrasts to stimulate your imagination.
Similar personalization awaits inside, too, as you’d expect. Traditionally, superyachts of this size have four staterooms for eight people. If you prefer, one stateroom can be a gym instead, or remain a cabin but add Pullman berths. Surely, you’ll want a main-deck master, which additionally can have a cozy lounge and a sizable balcony. Up one deck, meanwhile, get creative with de Groot and make the stereotypical skylounge into something more special. It can be a family TV lounge, for instance, or a kids’ playroom. How about a cigar lounge or a big bar for you and your friends? All ideas are on the table, as is making it an indoor-outdoor area flowing out to the hot tub, sunpads, and dining area.
From carpeting to curving walls, and from contemporary to classic décor, the yacht Project May design options abound. These extend to the kitted-out galley and other crew areas, too, for up to five capable hands.
Since cruising is all about spending time outside, the yacht Project May’s watertoy-oriented amenities are varied, too. A hydraulic swim platform is an option, capable of launching a tender further stowed on it. That’s handy if you’d rather avoid creating a tender garage and using up interior space. Regardless, with Blue Jeans’ technical platform, cruising can take you through the Bahamas, the Caribbean, the Med, and beyond.
