Since pleasure boating and yachting are all about having fun on the water, it’s hard to find a more appropriate name than this. The yacht Dopamine lowered into the water within the past days at Baglietto.
Similar to the yacht Infinity, which launched in February, Dopamine belongs to the Baglietto T52 series. In fact, she’s hull number four in the 171-foot (52-meter) series This means styling is by Francesco Paszkowski Design, for example, plus she bears features that are signatures of the range. Primarily, and the one that gets the most attention, is outside aft. The main aft deck, the open-air beach area, and the swimming/toy-boarding area are really one large, multi-level space. They look and feel like an integrated whole, too, regardless of the beach area pool (below, aboard a sistership) being in use. In fact, you might not even know the pool exists when it’s not in use. Its floor can raise up to sit flush with the edges of the surrounding deck. Then, loose lounge chairs or sunbeds can sit directly on top of it, increasing the social-focused space.

Yet another signature feature that the yacht Dopamine has is a super-size sundeck. On every series launch so far, including her, the sundeck stretches 78 feet (24 meters) fore to aft. According to Baglietto, it’s the biggest such area aboard any displacement motoryacht in this size range.
Since the T52 series is semi-custom, the owners of the yacht Dopamine personalized the interior with their choice of designer. The master stateroom, five guest staterooms, and lounges all showcase the work of Studio Vafiadis. Unfortunately, no details are available on the woods, stones, or other materials throughout the yacht. Previously, though, Fabio Ermetto, Baglietto’s CCO, has said, “The main challenge in building the T52 lies mainly in the very high level of customization.” By this, he means, “The extensive personalization not only affects the interior, where it is total, but also impacts the layout, making the model almost a custom yacht.”
Sea trials are set for later this month.
