Italy-based Anvera Boats has been around for two decades, producing super-fast, super-stylish craft. European customers have been its primary client base. A new deal with FGI Yacht Group, though, means Anvera tenders and chase boats will be available starting this autumn on U.S. shores.
“These aren’t just boats, they’re floating works of art,” asserts Frank Grzeszczak, Jr., FGI Yacht Group vice president and sales broker. Sharp styling, standard features like fold-down sides, and a host of customizable amenities set Anvera tenders and chase boats apart. For instance, dining tables can accompany seating and drop to form a sunbed. Yet another aspect setting the boats apart: all-carbon-fiber construction. High performance is a further selling point, with each model capable of cruising in the mid-30-knot range and higher.
Specifically, the lineup of models is the Anvera 42, Anvera 42 Speedster, Anvera 48, and Anvera 58. Each number refers to the LOA in feet. The Anvera 42 (top) therefore is a 42-footer (12.9-meter). For 12 guest, she’s reportedly capable of cruising at 35 knots and topping out at 45 knots. At the other end of the size spectrum, the Anvera 58 (bottom of page, 17.5 meters) can carry 16 guests. The boat promises 40-knot cruises and a max speed of 53 knots.
The first among the Anverea tenders and chase boats that will be in the United States is the Anvera 48 (below). FGI Yacht Group expects to have one on hand in time for the Fort Lauderdale show, in fact. If you follow the top yachting social media pages, you may have seen the thorough review that the captain of Loon (above) did when the owner acquired an Anvera 48 last year. The crew uses the boat as a limo tender and watersports platform as part of the Loon Flock. However you choose to outfit yours, this speedster exemplifies Anvera’s further emphasis on lower fuel consumption. It’s a contrast to traditional thinking for fast boats. The builder says the model consumes 0.9 gallons per mile (3.4 liters per mile) at 40 knots.
Overall, Grzeszczak cites Anvera’s “commitment to white-glove service” as being a good fit for customers’ expectations. David Montello, the FGI Yacht Group broker leading the U.S. representation, agrees. “Our American clients have been seeking something truly exceptional, and Anvera delivers just that,” he says. “I am eager to demonstrate how these remarkable craft will revolutionize the day-cruiser and the chase-boat markets in North America.”
Giancarlo Galeone, who heads Anvera, says the partnership with FGI Yacht Group “opens an exciting new chapter.” He’s looking forward to delivering boats “to clientele who demand the very best.”
FGI Yacht Group is already organizing sea trials for interested customers.
