Spec yachts increasingly need to stand apart from the crowd to catch clients’ eyes. Sirena Yachts and Cor D. Rover believe they’ve created an attention-getter with the Sirena 118 yacht interior. Capable of cruising with a party of 10 to 12, the model can have a master suite spanning two decks. Not only that, but the 118-footer (36-meter) comes with private access to an opening platform at the water’s edge.
Hull number one for the series, which inaugurates composite superyachts for the shipyard, is currently in build in Turkey. Fiberglass isn’t new to Sirena Yachts, of course. It’s built upwards of 400 fiberglass motoryachts under its own name and for other builders. However, among its own yachts with the lightweight material, none of the waterline lengths exceed 79 feet (24 meters).

Sirena Yachts and Cor D. Rover naturally want to customize the Sirena 118 yacht interiors to owners’ tastes. This is why the suggested illustrative arrangements all come with loose furnishings, making it easier to imagine your own way of living. Since most clients enjoy being surrounded by naturally light and bright atmospheres, the design studio has selected creamy and understated tones for fabrics. Further choices include soft tones for woods, and multiple light-reflecting décor accents like bronze. Natural textures and indirect soft lighting help, too. Effectively, the feeling is welcoming and relaxing, yet still has an air of polish and sophistication.
The highlight, though, of the Sirena 118 yacht interior is undoubtedly the master suite. A loft-like sleeping area can occupy the upper level of the two-level oasis. Spiral stairs take you down to an ample waterside lounge, complete with a fold-down hull section. This invites you to go for a morning swim to start your day, for example, or simply have a little private time when cruising with family. Clients still can request a traditional single-level stateroom forward on the main deck if preferred.

On a related note, the two-level suite influences whether the Sirena 118 yacht features four or five staterooms for your guests. With your private lower-level lounge, for example, you can have four cabins. But, if you have a big family or enjoy entertaining several friends, opt for the more typical master suite arrangement. Space therefore opens up for a big VIP to join the other four cabins. Either way, the yacht’s 26-foot (8-meter) beam should make them all feel comfortable.
A captain and crew of five will see to cruises being comfortable as well. According to naval architect Germán Frers, the megayacht should see a top speed of 16 knots with standard MAN power. Optional higher-horsepower MANs boost that to 21 knots.

The yacht is set for completion next year.
