She’s a 146-footer (44.5-meter) with three opening platforms in her beach club, and a huge master suite for her size. In fact, the Sanlorenzo 44 Alloy has a three-level master suite, to look and feel even more spacious. The first of this new megayacht series makes her official debut at September’s Cannes Yachting Festival, with further hulls following.
In announcing the series in 2017, the shipyard revealed it would be a first-time collaboration with Zuccon International Project. It also revealed that the all-aluminum yacht would have a fast-displacement hull design. While the yard didn’t reveal performance figures then, it now says the 44 Alloy should see a 20- or 22-knot top end, depending on the MTU package clients select. Either way, the yacht additionally has accommodations for 10 in the owner’s party and nine crewmembers.
Also for the first time, the shipyard is detailing the general arrangement’s highlights. As mentioned above, the Sanlorenzo 44 Alloy has an owners’ suite spread over three levels. This includes both interior and alfresco areas, encompassing a total of 1,561 square feet (145 square meters), too. That square footage, along with a 29’5” (9-meter) beam, should translate to luxurious living.
More luxurious living takes place in common areas like the saloon and beach club. Open-air enjoyment comes fully forward on the main deck, designed for sunning and soaking in a hot tub. Each of the aft decks, as well as the entire sundeck, has areas for sunning, lounging, and dining.
Since the series is semi-custom, owners can collaborate with their preferred interior designer. The owners of hull number one are working with Zuccon International Project. Sanlorenzo has an additional four hulls in the series under contract and in build. The owners of hull number two selected Michele Bonan, a Florence-based designer. As for hull number three, the interior designer is Liaigre.
Bearing a draft of 7’5” (2.3 meters), the first Sanlorenzo 44 Alloy launches by summer.
