Increasingly yacht charterers don’t simply want to spend time on the water. They want to enjoy themselves in metropolises, mountains, or another location in relative proximity to the sea. Burgess has partnered with Ultima Collection, a luxury-hospitality brand offering private estates and hotels in Europe, for a special two-week escape. Dubbed Ultima Collection x Burgess, it treats you to seven nights aboard the superyacht Kogo and seven nights at a Mediterranean villa or Alps chalet.

What better way to start a relaxing vacation than aboard a yacht whose owner draws inspiration from enlightenment and harmony? The 235-foot (nearly 72-meter) Kogo can accommodate your party of 14. While she has seven Zen-like staterooms and en suite baths (some with soaking tubs), Kogo has a spa and massage room, too. You can do morning yoga on her expansive decks, or opt for an invigorating workout in the gym. Enjoy memory-making dinners in the formal dining room and outside on the sundeck.

Of course, reserve some time to indulge as well. The Ultima Collection x Burgess team will speak with you about your preferred tastes and convey them. This applies to the crew for craft cocktails—Kogo has a few bars—and especially the chef. (Twenty-one crewmembers are aboard.) In fact, from good old-fashioned burgers to vegan meals, every menu revolves around you and your guests. For indulgences of the mind, meanwhile, the crew can set up an alfresco movie screen. Finally, for pure arenaline thrills, hop aboard one of the waterbikes or other watertoys.

Next, head to the Ultima Collection residence of your choice. You might like Ultima Corfu (top), for example, with stunning views over the Ionian Sea. Even more exclusive, Le Grand Jardin Cannes (above) is on the private island of Ile Saine-Marguerite near Cannes. But, if you love the mountains, the Ultima Collection x Burgess team can arrange transfer to the Alps. Ultima Megève in France (below) or Ultima Crans Montana in Switzerland (bottom) are strong options. Each has wellness facilities, modern luxuries, and full-time staffs. Furthermore, the views from the chalets are stunning.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary, Burgess believes the package complements what it already does with yacht charter. “Our partnership with Ultima Collection allows us to extend that level of luxury and personalization on land, offering clients a seamless journey across two extraordinary realms of travel,” notes Tim Davis, Burgess’ CMO. Sven Flory, Ultima Collection’s CCO, echoes his comments. “Our villas and chalets have often been described as superyachts on land,” he notes. “This collaboration with Burgess was a natural fit—uniting two best-in-class experiences into one unforgettable escape.”

The 14-day package starts at €720,000 (approximately $775,000. Of course, just like any yacht charter, an entirely personalized itinerary and hands-on service make it extra special. Other residence options are available, as are further highly detailed touches.
