When you enjoy soaking in the hot tub but want it all to yourself, what do you do? Create his and her hot tubs, of course, like the yacht Aalto features on her bridge deck, overlooking the bow. The yacht isn’t just for two people, though. In fact, a family has been enjoying cruising aboard for a few years. But, since they’re selling her, the tubs and her other sure-to-charm amenities await new owners.
Previously known as the yacht Amevi, this 262-footer (80-meter) has cruised multiple countries since delivery in 2007. Regardless of which side of the Atlantic you choose to explore, you can share the experience with multiple generations of your family. The yacht Aalto has accommodations for 18, including in a bridge-deck VIP suite and three main-deck VIPs. Two twins are additionally on the main deck, while two doubles are below decks. You, meanwhile, have nearly half of the upper deck for your suite, which includes a lounge and private terrace with the above-mentioned hot tubs. Since a crew of 22 handles operations, you have an excellent guest-to-crew ratio, too.
A joint central listing of Edmiston and Burgess, the yacht Aalto has abundant expansive spaces. These include the sundeck, with a glass-walled pool. They include the upper deck, too, where everyone can gather for formal dining alongside semi-circular sliding-glass doors. After dinner, the adjacent lounge is perfect for conversations and fun. The current owners use it as a sort of piano lounge, which you might want to emulate as well.
Your kids (and, of course, you) will delight in playing on the plethora of watertoys that stow aboard. If you take the tender to enjoy waterskiing, you can depart from the lower-deck lobby and fold-down boarding area. Following your all-day play, indulge in pampering in the massage room and beauty salon. Both are on the main deck—a nice change from the below-decks location most yachts choose. More wellness awaits in the gym, with incredible views given sliding glass. Cap off your night with a movie in the main saloon, where your entire family easily can gather. The room doubles as a private cinema, since a projector is hidden overhead.
The asking price for the yacht Aalto: €79.5 million. Limited appointments are available to see her in the Med this summer. She then will be in the water at the Monaco Yacht Show, further available for appointments.
