It’s a year of celebration for Custom Line. The brand marks its 20th anniversary, for one. And for another, it has launched its largest megayacht model to date. The 121-foot (37-meter) Navetta 37 lowered into the water the last weekend in July.
The Navetta series is made for traditional cruising customers, with a balance of indoor and alfresco areas. Some styling departures denote the Navetta 37 in comparison to the smaller models. Nearly floor-to-ceiling ports line the main deck and upper deck, for example. The megayacht has a higher bow and just partial side-deck access on the main deck, too. The latter lets the Navetta 37 have a full-beam master stateroom.
Equipment differences denote the Navetta 37 as well. She has four propulsion options, with three from MTU and one from Baudouin. (None of the expected cruise or top speeds are available from Custom Line, unfortunately.) Regardless of your engine choice, the semi-displacement megayacht comes fitted with a bulbous bow, for better seakeeping and efficiency.
Customary for Custom Line, customers can personalize the interior of the Navetta 37. The general arrangement is comfortably familiar, with the saloon and dining area open to one another. In a nice change of pace, some of the glass lining the rooms to starboard slides open. The galley is conveniently situated just forward of the dining area, too. A dumbwaiter lets the crew serve drinks and meals on the upper deck. Eight guests get four staterooms below decks. Three crew cabins are also below decks, while the captain’s cabin is aft of the wheelhouse.
The Navetta 37 already has three customers claiming the first three hulls. You can step aboard hull number one at either the Cannes Yachting Festival or Monaco Yacht Show next month. This, if you don’t already have an invitation to the Ferretti Group’s client-preview event at the beginning of the month.
