Second Baglietto T60 Yacht Will Cruise Come 2027

UPDATE, DECEMBER 4, 2024: Baglietto has sold hull number two in the T60 series, which started build on spec. The contract signing took place within the last few days, with Royal Yacht International introducing the owners. Fabio Ermetto, Baglietto’s CCO, says it’s the perfect way to end the year, since this was its 170th anniversary. “The sale of this hull—the largest in our range—just at the end of such a special year makes us even more proud,” he states. “This model, perhaps even more than others, truly epitomizes our essence: it is a contemporary yacht that looks to the future without stepping away from tradition, but, rather, paying tribute to it.”

Royal Yacht International will serve as the owners’ project manager throughout construction. Delivery is still set for 2027. In the meantime, Baglietto has the third hull in build already, on spec. She is available for sale, with a delivery date in early 2028.

Having sold the first hull in its biggest T Line series, Baglietto has laid the keel of hull number two. The Baglietto T60 yacht can begin cruising in 2027.

The superyacht series redefines open space in ways rarely, if ever, seen. Significantly, the upper and main saloons have floor-to-ceiling glass that slides open completely on three sides. Additionally, the saloon, as part of an open floorplan with the dining area, looks and feels connected to the beach area. It’s thanks to an atrium-like opening, through which a stairway leads guests down (or up, if they board via tender at the beach level). Featuring a bar, a pool, and loose furnishings, the beach area is definitely the daytime gathering space. In combination with the saloon and dining area, though, it creates 1,076 square feet (100 square meters) of leisure space from day into night.

A healthy volume of 1,200 gross tons means the interior areas throughout the T60 yacht should feel comfortable. The buyers of this second hull will appreciate having an entire deck to themselves, specifically the upper deck. Similar to the main deck, it too, has three-sided opening glass, specifically around the sleeping area. Keeping the glass open is a nice way to enjoy a beautiful anchorage from bed, or turn this private space into an indoor-outdoor apartment. Breakfasts are ideal for enjoying fully aft in the open-air dining space, while sunning and soaking in a pool is the focus fully forward.

Owners can take a glass elevator from their suite to greet guests on the main deck. They all get staterooms below decks. The suggested general arrangement, from Baglietto and Francesco Paszkowski Design, includes a massage room below decks as well. However, it’s available to personalize as you see fit.

The Baglietto T60 yacht has accommodations for a maximum of 13 crewmembers in seven staterooms below decks. The captain naturally gets a cabin adjacent to the wheelhouse—though the wheelhouse is on the sundeck, rather than the upper deck. More crew-only areas include an under-lower deck with stowage, cold rooms, and even a wine cellar. The crew mess is in proximity to a dedicated galley for them on the deck directly above, with the primary galley on the main deck.

With an anticipated top speed of 16 knots and cruising speed of 12 knots, the T60 yacht can feature traditional twin diesel or hybrid propulsion. Furthermore, the superyacht can have a touch-and-go helipad on the bow and a toy garage capable of holding a 23-foot (7-meter) tender.
