Owners planning to attend the 38th America’s Cup in Naples, Italy can now submit berth-booking requests through the official superyacht concierge. Superyacht slips are currently available across eight marinas in Naples and nearby destinations, with more anticipated soon.
BWA Yachting is the formal Superyacht Programme delivery partner for the America’s Cup. It’s therefore the exclusive provider of berths, handling slip requests and registration through a centralized process. BWA Yachting previously handled the same needs for the America’s Cup events in Bermuda in 2017 and Barcelona in 2024. The marina network for Naples 2027 includes properties in the city already familiar to megayacht owners, guests, and crew. Specifically, Marina Molo Luise (below), Stabia Main Port, and Marina di Stabia are all taking reservations. So, too, is the presently-under-renovations Marina di Bagnoli, set to be a primary superyacht hub during the race. Further marinas in the area are Sud Cantieri in Pozzuoli, Marina di Arechi in Salerno, Marina di Capri in Capri, and Marina di Procida in Procida.
Instead of offering America’s Cup superyacht berth bookings on a first-come, first-served basis, BWA Yachting is assessing each request independently. It’s considering the LOA and draft, for example. Operational requirements and desired arrival and departure dates are important as well, against slip availability across the marina network. Furthermore, benefits extend beyond just a place to dock. In fact, for the first time, yachts are receiving a dedicated membership for the Superyacht Programme. This allows owners and invited guests to enjoy a variety of invitation-only social events and hospitality experiences organized around the racing. This includes events showcasing the city of Naples and the Gulf of Naples.
A preview of the racing—and of Naples’ plans as host city—comes in a few weeks, from September 24 through 27. It’s a regatta marking the first official America’s Cup racing in the Gulf of Naples.
