And speaking of photos, check out the work being done by Exrenda, a company pioneering the use of 360-degree photography of megayachts. Colin Johnson, CEO of Exrenda, calls it virtual-reality (VR) photography and has been involved in the field for more than a decade. In fact, he says that even though the technology has been around for a dozen years, until recently the resultant images have been limited to low-resolution quality in tiny screens on PCs and Macs. They’ve also been subject to distortion. Now, however, you can view them in full-screen, high-resolution formats, zooming in and out and rotating the photo at will without difficulty
