Judging from the looks of this photo-realistic rendering, if you can’t sleep comfortably in this master stateroom while cruising the eastern seaboard, then the yachting life just isn’t for you.
This is a sneak peek at the interior of Miss Lisa, from the drawing boards of Joseph Artese Design. The steel-hulled megayacht, measuring 92 feet LOA, is presently under construction at Aleutian Yachts. The young duo who commissioned her are based on the East Coast and plan to cruise everywhere from the lobster-laden waters of Maine to the crystal-clear depths of the Caribbean.
They also apparently like to cook, so Aleutian’s Grand Galley layout “will be the prime social center of the yacht,” Artese says. The size of the saloon on many yachts, it features a cooking and prep island in the middle, complete with barstools, in addition to a dining area opposite to starboard.
The rest of Miss Lisa should keep them in comfort, too. The skylounge benefits from 360-degree views and, for days when the rain interrupts those vistas, a 46-inch TV. It also has an office area-which hopefully will be employed more for writing letters to make friends and family envious than for putting the file drawers and bookshelves to use. From the bridge deck to the two double crew cabins below decks, Artese and his team worked with the owners to create a classic East Coast ambiance. They selected recessed-panel anigre paneling, teak and holly soles, and tongue and groove overheads. White, navy, and French blue fabrics underscore the feel.
The yacht should launch within the next few weeks.
