Measuring 91’9” (28 meters), the Mulder 2800 RPH is the newest megayacht model in the growing fleet of Mulder Shipyard.
Mulder considers the all-aluminum 2800 RPH a full-beam project, though there’s a caveat. The master stateroom (pictured) is the only main-deck area benefiting from the maximized space. Side decks flank the saloon, for the crew’s convenience in docking and other maneuvers. Stairs then rise up and over the megayacht’s master stateroom, to the wheelhouse. Mulder wanted the owners of each 2800 RPH to benefit from the uninterrupted views that so many larger yachts offer these days.
The Mulder 2800 RPH has a few other attractive features, too. Thanks to Omega Architects, dining is entirely alfresco, in the shade of the aft deck. Drop-down windows to port and starboard allow refreshing breezes to flow through when wanted. This arrangement translates to about 33 feet (10 meters) of fluid entertainment and relaxation space straight through the saloon.
Eight guests can join you aboard the Mulder 2800 RPH. Of course, the LOA of the Mulder 2800 RPH requires simpler crewing requirements, too: just three hands, for either private or charter use. Mulder Shipyard can change up the accommodations for crew and guests if you so wish, however.
Regardless, the Mulder 2800 RPH will provide leisurely days of enjoyment. Cruise speed should be 12 knots. Van Oossanen Naval Architects, which is responsible for the round-bilge hull form, has already determined that cruise speeds up to about 16 knots are possible with additional engine configurations. We’ve requested engine information from Mulder and are awaiting details.
In related news, the finishing touches are being applied to another megayacht in the same size range. The Mulder 94 Voyager, with a 93’5” (28.5-meter) LOA, will splash in the next few weeks.
