Otam 100 HT: Yard’s Biggest Megayacht Model

While Italy-based Otam has a few megayachts under its best, thus far its largest series build is the 80 Millennium. The series offerings now have an even bigger sister, the Otam 100 HT. Inviting owners and guests to enjoy an indoor-outdoor experience, the yacht further offers customizable arrangements.

In fact, the choices that buyers have with the Otam 100 HT are surprising. For example, instead of a traditional saloon, you can have a home cinema, or a bar. Whatever you choose, you can also choose to keep it open to the aft deck. One of the two glass doors separating the spaces slides open. In another surprising move, Otam makes the second glass door lower down into the deck. (It slides into the engine-room bulkhead.) Overall, the main deck puts 398 square feet (37 square meters) of space at your disposal. This includes an interior dining area for 10.

Speaking of dining, the Otam 100 HT has three spots for breakfast and more. Besides the just-mentioned interior area, the megayacht has two alfresco dining areas. One is shaded by the hardtop. The other sits at the bow. Each is further in proximity to sunpads, creating a truly social, relaxed atmosphere. On a related note, the Otam 100 HT also incorporates a customizable bimini for the forward sunpad. Yet another surprise: Otam says it can change the layout for a touch-and-go helicopter. (Yes, a helipad for a 98-footer, or 30-meter. Hard to imagine an owner wanting this, though.) Note, too, that the aft sunpad sits atop the tender garage. It can hold a toy to nearly 14 feet (4.2 meters).

In terms of accommodations, the Otam 100 HT has 861 square feet (80 square meters) for you and your guests. About 215 square feet (20 square meters) of that is just for you. The master stateroom spans the 21’8” (6.63-meter) beam, too. The rest, therefore, is for you to arrange as you see fit, as VIPs, twins, or a combination. Otam has a suggested layout wherein two twins accompany a VIP fully forward.

Four crewmembers get two cabins, each with en suite heads, plus a private entry to their quarters. The galley is also in their quarters, along with direct engine-room access.

Anticipated performance data isn’t yet available. However, the Otam 100 HT will feature a pair of 2,600-hp MTUs with Arneson drives.
