No more waiting: Princess Yachts has finally released photos of its newest megayacht. The Princess 30M is shown in her home waters of the UK, where she’s been undergoing sea trials.
Designed by Bernard Olesinski, the Princess 30M is 99’9” (30.45 meters), the so-called entry-level model in the builder’s M Class lineup. In announcing the megayacht last year, the builder expected speeds in the mid-20s. We don’t know which of three available MTU engine packages hull number one has. But, for comparison, twin 12V 2000s should permit 22 to 24 knots, and two different 16V 2000 packages should allow anywhere from 24 to 27 knots.
Following the completion of sea trials, the Princess 30M will debut next month at Boot Düsseldorf. There, interested clients will get the first glimpses of what the Princess Design Studio did with the interior. Leather-clad walls grace various areas, from the main-deck master (unusual for the LOA) to the saloon. A fold-down balcony is another highlight of the saloon. Note, too, that four general arrangements are available for the Princess 30M. Between those and the Princess Design Studio’s selection of woods, stones, and other luxe goods, you can put quite a personal imprint on the yacht.
Some things are standard aboard the Princess 30M, of course. They include skylights in the master suite. They also include a sunroof within the hardtop on the flying bridge. The crew area below decks has its own access, too, separate from that of your six to eight guests.
We’ll have a complete photo gallery of the Princess 30M following her premiere.
