If your cruising plans have you in the Med this summer, stay through mid-September for a treat. BWA Yachting and the America’s Cup Event Authority have a Superyacht Program for the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series in Toulon, France.
The five America’s Cup teams head to Toulon to race from September 9 to 11. The dates represent the fifth World Series event this year, and the third one in Europe. What’s more, Toulon is the only Med location.
The special Superyacht Program runs from September 8 to 11. You’ll get front-row seats, so to speak, in two ways. The first: berths at the same shipyard where the competitors will dock. It’s the refit and repair facility IMS Shipyard. The second: VIP viewing flags to fly from your yacht. The flags ensure you have close-to-the-racecourse positioning when the action starts.
Additional benefits of the America’s Cup World Series Superyacht Program include VIP passes to the Cup lounge. (The hospitality area is hosted by a local company, ACT Organisation.) Stefano Tositti, CEO of BWA Yachting, also recommends enjoying the sights of Toulon. “Inspired by the Mediterranean beauty and the first-class facilities Toulon has to offer, including excellent golf courses, luxury hotels, and fine-dining restaurants, BWA Yachting has put together a bespoke program of activities that will ensure participants have a wonderful experience during the event.”

On a related note, you may recall that BWA Yachting has a Superyacht Program for the America’s Cup in Bermuda next year, too. A few berths still remain, for private and charter megayachts alike. Similar to the World Series event, you can enjoy a variety of spectacles. They include the J Class Regatta. Contact Laura Esteve for details on that program as well.
