Most new megayachts below the 100-foot mark are semi-custom. So the 88-foot (27-meter) project signed by CCN is quite noteworthy. She’s the latest in CCN’s focus on fully custom construction, or what it calls “Fuoriserie.” The yard therefore refers to her (for now, at least) as a 27m Fuoriserie.
Unfortunately, the management team for the Italian shipyard is not revealing much about the megayacht at this point. Among the few details, she features all aluminum construction. She’s also meant to be fast, expected to hit a top end of 40 knots. Triple waterjets figure prominently in the propulsion package, too. As for exterior design and interior design, both are by Design Studio Spadolini.
Since the owner wanted to have a private retreat that also allowed him to enjoy a good deal of comfort, the 27m Fuoriserie has a huge master stateroom. In fact, it occupies much of the main deck, situated just aft of the helm. It also benefits from a skylight and access out to the aft deck. Just four guests will stay aboard, below decks in two staterooms. They, and the owner, will have open space on the flying bridge, which further has an extra helm station. Delivery will take place next year.
This is the third fully custom megayacht for CCN within about a year. The first is Kanga, a 131-foot (40-meter) expedition yacht meant for navigating in icy waters. The second is Elsea, a sporty-looking 164-footer (50-meter). Prior to offering the Fuoriserie projects, Previously, CCN only built semi-custom maxi yachts.
One more thing about the new Fuoriserie project is quite noteworthy. CCN says the owner is a well-known Italian fashion designer.
