In the near future, the Sirena 85 will join Sirena Yachts’ lineup of power craft from 56 to 100 feet (17 to 30.5 meters). She’ll also take the crown as the Turkish shipyard’s largest model to date.
Though Sirena Yachts is keeping some details confidential for now, it’s revealing enough to whet appetites. With naval architecture and styling by Frers Naval Architecture & Engineering, the Sirena 85 will bear similarities to her smaller semi-displacement sisters. (Those two models are the Sirena 56 and 64.) She’ll also offer good speeds and range. German Frers of the naval-architecture firm says top speed should approach 26 knots, depending on engine package. Sirena Yachts hasn’t yet revealed what the standard or optional powerplants are. Regardless, Frers also says range should exceed 2,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.
Given megayacht market tradition, the Sirena 85 will be semi-custom. Cor D Rover Design will work with customers to personalize either the four- or five-stateroom arrangement. Either way, the master stateroom sits forward on the main deck, a nice surprise for this size. It also includes a fold-down balcony. Whether in the master or back in the saloon, buyers should appreciate an emphasis on bringing the outside in, via large windows.
Of course, spending time outside is important, too. To that end, the bow beckons, featuring a hot tub. Note, too, that the master stateroom has a private entry directly out to this spot. The flying bridge, meanwhile, provides welcome shade beneath a hardtop. The hardtop extends nearly the entire length of the deck as well. But, sun-seekers can still enjoy spending time up here, due to settees that convert to sunpads. Other guests can chat with the captain at the helm, perhaps planning their adventures ashore at the next destination.
Sirena Yachts does plan to reveal more details as it brings the Sirena 85 to customers’ attention. In the meantime, it’s worth noting that Sirena Marine, its parent company, has built more than 250 motoryachts as well as several sailing yachts under the model names Euphoria and Azuree.
