Breitling started as a pocket-watch maker in Switzerland in the 1800s. While it produced a number of different watches in the ensuring years, the 1950s marked a significant turning point. The Breitling Navitimer debuted. The model name is a hybrid of “navigation” and “timer,” and the watch became popular with pilots. To this day, the Navitimer is famous among aircraft enthusiasts. Perhaps the same will happen with the Breitling Exospace B55 Yachting, among the superyacht set.
The chronograph is a striking piece on its own, but particularly meant for those of you who enjoy regattas. In fact, Breitling tapped several regatta competitors and racing professionals for its development. That explains why the Exospace B55 Yachting has a clever countdown system. This incorporates not just visual, but also audible and vibrating alarms and indicators. You can resync the countdown on the watch if an official countdown stops and resumes, too.

We further ask you to weigh in on public coverage of megayacht owners. A spate of stories of late portrays many as being boorish. While in some cases the image is warranted, we argue that it’s not a one-size-fits-all scenario.
