Marking its seventh megayacht multihull model in its power range, Sunreef Yachts is enticing customers with the 120 Sunreef Power. Boasting an immense beam of 47 feet (14.4 meters), the concept project could become a reality upon contract signing.
Poland-based Sunreef says it’s seeing rising interest for catamarans and even trimarans exceeding 80 feet (about 24 meters). That led to the development of this idea, from its in-house naval-architecture and design teams. The 120 Sunreef Power joins a lineup that already includes a 90, a 115, and a 150 catamaran, for example. The power range additionally includes a 150 and a 210 trimaran.
For styling, the 120 Sunreef Power draws inspiration from supercars. In particular, the yacht incorporates chrome accents, as well as LED accents. The overall look is dynamic and fluid, too, even when the yacht is at anchor.
The builder pledges to have more specifics in terms of performance and other parameters available at the next boat shows, in a few months. For now, though, Sunreef is assuring interested customers that the new model is semi-custom, just like its other offerings. Of course, there’s already a suggested layout for the yacht, too. The 120 Sunreef Power can accommodate eight guests as well as seven crewmembers, plus the captain. Interestingly, friends and family get three staterooms to starboard on the main deck, not within the twin hulls. In typical megayacht fashion, and certainly Sunreef fashion, however, the 120 Sunreef Power places the master suite forward on the main deck. Here, that 47-foot beam should really come into play. Further of interest, the master suite provides access to a private alfresco area (above).
Even with the flying bridge offering alfresco enjoyment for all, the catamaran offers flexibility. For example, you can devote this upper deck to sunning, soaking in the hot tub, and dining. Or, you can reserve some space for stationary bikes, even massage tables. Back on the main deck, the 120 Sunreef Power has sliding doors aft and to the sides of the saloon and dining area. This opens up the already-ample area even more. Picture yourselves enjoying midnight movies on the 110-inch TV here, too.
With crew cabins in the port-side hull, the super-cat notably doesn’t put the galley below decks. (Sunreef has had lower-deck galley installations on several models.) Instead, it’s on deck, for better efficiency in serving guests. Also efficient: transformer swim platforms, for ease of boarding as well as enjoying water activities. Add toys to the garage, and you’re good to go.
