The flurry of explorer-yacht designs from established builders and design studios has thus far focused on ultra-large lengths. Smaller sizes are no less capable of transatlantic cruising, though. Whether you want to explore the Norwegian fjords, the South Pacific, or in between, the Dynamiq G 300 proposes being the solution.
Dynamiq made a name for itself with transparent pricing. Its online configurator, which lets you select options, updates costs in real time. You can do the same with Dynamiq’s Global series, to which the G 300 belongs. (The series also includes the G 330.) With a base price of €9.15 million (about $10.127 million at press time), the Dynamiq G 300 has a volume of 200 gross tons and naval architecture by Van Oossanen Naval Architects. The all-aluminum yacht features the studio’s fast displacement hull form, too. Expect a 3,000-nautical-mile range at 10 knots, with MANs. It’s plenty to explore all of North America before venturing across the Atlantic. Top speed, meanwhile, is expected to be 19 knots. To boost efficiency, the Dynamiq G 300 offers Van Oossanen’s Hull Vane as an option. Briefly, the Hull Vane is a hydrofoil, creating hydrodynamic lift and therefore lowering resistance.
The relatively small size of the megayacht still provides plenty of design choice. From the four staterooms, including the master, below decks to the upper-deck saloon, the Dynamiq G 300 can feature interior design by a number of high-profile firms. Bannenberg & Rowell, Sabrina Monte-Carlo, Trussardi Casa, and even Bentley Home each are the builder’s partners. The rendering here reveals ideas from Bentley Home, for example. It includes a fireplace in the saloon and dining area (below). Regardless of choice, the G 300 has a healthy beam of 24’6” (7.5 meters). In addition, the megayacht has what Dynamiq says is the largest sundeck in her size range. It encompasses 1,012 square feet (94 square meters).
As for luxury options, you can select an inflatable pool from FunAir, or even an inflatable slide. Watertoys ranging from SeaBobs to PWCs are available, too. Gym equipment, a Wilkins & Bowers entertainment system, are more are in the configurator as well.
Dynamiq further says that delivery can take place within 22 months.
