For the past several years, Invictus Yacht has been producing megayacht tenders with high style, in collaboration with noted designer Christian Grande. The Invictus GT280S continues the tradition, as well as personalization choices for hull colors and interior outfitting. It does so while packing a power punch, up to 500 hp outboards—explaining the “S” notation, which stands for “Sport.”
Invictus Yacht takes this approach because it believes tenders are more than mere shuttles. This new 29-footer (8.87-meter) features a lot of the same benefits as the GT280. For example, the entire forward portion of the tender, ahead of the helm, is a giant sunpad. The Invictus GT280S includes a backrest here as well, letting you lounge while enjoying the sights underway. Speaking of sights, you won’t interfere with the sightlines of your captain or crew at the wheel if you do prop yourself up.
Yet another big sunpad occupies the aft end of the boat. Considering the Invictus GT280S has a nine-foot (2.84-meter) beam, you have abundant space to stretch out and relax. Note that the sunpad doubles as a dining/cocktail seat, thanks to the inclusion of a small table.
All that’s left to do is select the colors complementing your style. The hull color seen here is Vanilla Sea. Traditionalists might prefer Personal White. If you feel bold, go for Wild Bronze, or Dark Wood. Even more choices exist. The fun choices extend to the cushions, with names like Cognac, Cocoa, and Titanium.
