What better way to kick off a weekend than to see your yacht launch. The motoryacht Low Profile slipped into the water on June 6. She’s a Tecnomar Nadara 40 model from Admiral Tecnomar. All design and engineering is by the yard.
The all-aluminum Low Profile is 131’9” (40.2 meters) LOA and rises three decks high. She’s further engineered for speed. Admiral Tecnomar says the top end exceeds 26 knots. Power comes from twin 3,460-hp MTUs. Image the sensation when guests are lounging on the sundeck. There’s a hot tub up here from which to enjoy the views. While at anchor, Low Profile can entertain guests at the sundeck bar. It’s adorned with marble and glass. The chef can also prepare a barbecue a few feet away.
With a beam of 26’2” (8 meters), Low Profile also emphasizes indoor relaxation. Since each Nadara 40 is semi-custom, Admiral Tecnomar outfits the yachts with the owners’ input. The buyers of Low Profile wanted a traditionally arranged main deck, with a saloon and master suite. They selected crystal, metals, marbles, and more as eye-catchers. There’s further a custom-made dining table for 10, with a center section of backlit glass.
Up one level, there’s also a traditional skylounge. It’s intended for lounging, pre- or post-dinner drinks, and TV watching. Its decor is anything but traditional, however. Low Profile has marble soles and mirrored overheads here. Should the owners have more guests aboard, a chaise lounge converts to a bed.
Admiral Tecnomar offers the Nadara 40 with four or five guest staterooms. The owners of Low Profile chose four. All are below decks, treated to their own decor schemes. The staterooms are comprised by a VIP with its own seating area, a double, and two twins. As you would expect, the main-deck master suite occupies the full beam. It’s also quite elegant, with a tufted headboard and four-poster bed.
Since Admiral Tecnomar also offers a choice of crew cabins, the owners selected two below decks and the captain’s cabin aft of the wheelhouse.
Low Profile is the third of seven anticipated launches set for this year for Admiral Tecnomar and its parent company, the Italian Sea Group. The company builds both yachts and barges.
