At “just” 151’6” (46.22 meters), Como is one of the smaller yachts to emerge from Feadship in recent years. To equate her size with insignificance would be a mistake, though. Como is, from her whale-tail-shape mast to her racecar-inspired hull lines, a considerable example of custom yacht construction. Every styling detail is the result of her owner’s imagination and the work of Dubois Naval Architects. Things like her oversize hull ports are not just highly unusual, but highly technical. They broke the rules–and set new ones–for what’s permissible under Lloyds. Then there are the more than 23-foot-wide (seven-meter-wide) superstructure ports aboard Como. The distinguishing differences of Como are, no pun intended, quite clear.
