In two years’ time, a client from Mexico will take delivery of this 158-footer (48-meter) from Baglietto.
The Baglietto 48M is designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design, featuring all-aluminum construction and a displacement hull. She’s based on an existing model from the Italian builder and designer, that being the Baglietto 46M, measuring 152 feet (46.3 meters). In fact, the yard recently completed a yacht in that series, Only One, which will be exhibited at the fall yacht shows.
The styling for the Baglietto 48M incorporates raked wheelhouse ports and an overall mix of sharp and soft lines both fore and aft. Details on the general arrangement and decor have not been revealed. If the owner follows the layout for the 46M, though, expect to find two VIPs and two twins on the lower deck and a main-deck master suite. Furthermore, the transom may contain a beach club, and the sundeck will serve as much as a dining spot as it will a sunning spot.
It’s interesting to note that the Mexican client commissioning this megayacht is Baglietto’s first in Latin America. The yard says it has been attracting growing interest from buyers in the general region.
