Her French walnut paneling and white oak soles may lend her a genteel look, but beneath them, Sea Eagle harbors bold ambitions and a competitive spirit, too. Delivered by Royal Huisman this year, Sea Eagle will put her reported 15-knot hull speed to thorough use on global cruises and a superyacht regatta here and there. Whether cruising in Asia, her owner’s home region, or battling for bragging rights in the Med, imagine her 10,764 square feet (1,000 square meters) of sail, billowing out from her 187-foot-tall (57-meter-high) mast.
Enjoy this tour of Sea Eagle, and take special note of features like the aft owner’s suite, the natural-light-flooded saloon, and the on-deck “tea deck” (a.k.a. awning-covered cockpit). You’ll also see what Royal Huisman terms the “beach deck,” a full-beam staircase hidden by the transom that leads guests down to a virtual playground just above the water.
