Paradiso, the second 106LE in two years from MCP Yachts, is now in the water.
As the model name states, the MCP 106LE series (“LE” stands for “Limited Edition”) measures 106 feet (32.31 meters). It’s further all aluminum, built on a semi-custom basis. The owner of Paradiso requested the exterior color combination seen in the photos here. For comparison, the first MCP 106LE, named Mars, has a silvery metallic profile.
While the Brazilian shipyard has not revealed decor details, Paradiso features a pretty standard layout. This includes a full-beam (24-foot, or 7.4-meter) main-deck master suite and four guest staterooms below decks. Paradiso additionally has a fold-down balcony off her saloon, accessed via sliding glass doors. Alfresco areas include a beach club and a hot tub adjacent to a bar on the flying bridge.
Those alfresco areas should be able to be enjoyed from a variety of popular cruising spots. Paradiso has a 5’10” (1.82-meter) draft and a reported top speed of 24 knots with 1,825-hp Caterpillars. MCP Yachts also says she should be most efficient at nearly 11 knots, burning about 22 gph (83 lph).
If you missed it, MCP Yachts created a time-lapse video of the construction of Paradiso a few months ago.
