Why simply watch a movie onboard—why not engage in a virtual game of golf, or clay shooting? Federico Fiorentino Yacht Design can make it happen. In fact, judging from its plans with Eurocraft, the studio thinks it’s time for a radical departure from the norm. The Eurocraft 56M is a dramatically different displacement yacht that can be yours in about 30 months.
Displacement yachts like this 184-footer are meant to make ocean passages on their own bottom. While owners and guests normally aren’t aboard for transatlantic crossings, they could very well be for long trips between destinations. Therefore, Federico Fiorentino Yacht Design decided to make these passages a bit more fun. It includes a multi-use space among the entertainment areas—emphasis on “entertainment.” Nicknamed the Virtual Room, it can be a simple cinema. (Well, maybe not so simple… the latest audio and video technologies are yours to request.) But, it can also let you practice your golf swing, or take in a little target practice. Simulation technology is quite advanced, after all, so the possibilities are seemingly endless.
If you’re still craving more things to do, the Eurocraft 56M offers additional entertainment options. Ask your pilot/captain to take you up in the helicopter to scout out anchorages ahead of time. Or, request a drop-off at the top of a mountain to go hiking, with a pick-up in a few hours. Back onboard, the Eurocraft 56M has a spa and wellness center, beneath the aft-deck pool. Naturally, the space comes with water views. Yet another pool sits on the upper deck, forward of the helipad. And, if you’d prefer a plethora of exploratory toys to complement the ’copter, the Eurocraft 56M can replace the aft-deck pool with on-deck stowage.
Regardless, the 12-passenger Eurocraft 56M treats you to an upper-deck owner’s suite. Very Important People get a full-beam stateroom on the main deck, with four more staterooms going below for the rest of your friends and family.
Listed exclusively with Yacht & Villa International, the Eurocraft 56M is €37.5 million (about $39.9 million at press time).
