This simple illustration is the only look we’re getting so far at the newest contract that CRN has signed. Regardless, CRN 139 will soon join three already-under-construction superyachts at the Italian builder’s shipyard in Ancona.
Unfortunately, scant details are available. CRN is revealing that the new project measures 229’6” (70 meters). As you would expect, CRN 139 will have a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, too, and is an entirely custom design. That design comes from CRN’s own in-house team as well as A. Vallicelli & C. Design. The fellow Italian firm, which specializes in naval architecture as well as exterior and interior design, dates back to 1976. CRN 139 marks its first project with the shipyard, interesting enough.
Specifically, the studio’s Andrea Vallicelli and Alessandro Nazareth came up with the design concept. Furthermore, they’re responsible for the styling as well as the general arrangement inside.
As for that interior, CRN is not revealing information about the principal decor theme or materials, at least at this time. However, it does say that CRN 139 is a family yacht. It also says she’ll put “generous” indoor and outdoor areas at their feet. Perhaps the profile hints at what will await, though. Note, for instance, the graceful, flowing, and uncomplicated lines.
The delivery date remains a secret, too. We anticipate it will be around 2021, given what the builder has under construction at the moment. For instance, both CRN 135 and CRN 137 are expected in their owners’ hands next year. The first of the two measures 259 feet (79 meters), the builder’s second-largest contract so far. Meanwhile, CRN 137 measures 203 feet (62 meters). Coincidentally, that’s the same LOA as CRN 138, announced earlier this year. However, she’s set for a 2021 delivery.
