Since it successfully sold the first two hulls, Mulder Shipyard started hull number three of its Mulder ThirtySix series on spec. The 118-footer (36-meter), a.k.a. Project Mana, is available on a turnkey basis, too, complete with watertoys.
The first Mulder ThirtySix, Delta One, debuted in 2017. Meanwhile, the owner of Calypso (above), hull number two, just took delivery this past April. The series features a fast-displacement hull form from Van Oossanen Naval Architects. Each megayacht also features twin 1,150-hp Caterpillar C-18 diesel engines. Mulder Shipyard anticipates a top speed around 17 knots for Project Mana, like her sisters. Furthermore, she should see a cruising speed around 15 knots.
Built to ABS classification, the all-aluminum megayacht has a four-stateroom layout amid the 26-foot (8-meter) beam. This should suit both private as well as charter usage. While naturally a buyer can customize the interior to his or her liking, Mulder Shipyard is working with Vickers Studio for design ideas for now. The interior-design firm has selected walnut paneling throughout the interior.
Another attractive feature for Project Mana: a tender garage that turns into a beach club. The megayacht has a fold-down aft platform large enough to stage SeaBobs, for instance, as well as other small watertoys. In addition, the section to port can be reserved for boarding and disembarking tenders and PWCs. Note that the Mulder ThirtySix series comes with a Williams Diesejet 625 RIB.
To get a better idea of what you can do with Project Mana, you can visit Calypso at the Monaco Yacht Show in September.
